Cebu International School is committed to making the admissions process as friendly as possible and welcomes students at any time of the school year subject to our admissions process.
We accept students without regard to race, color or creed and we adhere to our mission and philosophy of providing a high quality, integrated program that is imbued with universal moral values. Filipino applicants as well as members of the international community are most welcome to CIS.
Application for admission should be accompanied by previous school records, and any documents supporting previous educational background. CIS requires a placement test to evaluate language, reading and mathematical skills.
General admission criteria will include the evaluation of qualifying test results, academic records from former school, recommendation from the former school; English language proficiency for regular students, and interview of the applicant as this may be needed.
Various forms to support this information may be obtained from the school or requested via email from our admissions department.
Parents & Guardianship
Students should be living with at least one, if not both of the parents while the child is enrolled at CIS. Students whose parents live abroad or away from the child may be admitted provided that there is a notarized Affidavit of Guardianship signed by both the parents and guardians (forms available at the Admissions Office). It is understood that the designated guardians will be responsible for the child and will act for and on behalf of the parents on matters pertaining to the child’s education at CIS.
If you are interested in registering your child or knowing more about our school, you may have our Admissions Manager, Ms. Emma Peligro, to contact you. Admissions can be reached at +63 32 261 0247 ext. 130 or 128 or email: firstname.lastname@example.org.
