Figuring out the nature of things is an important part to any learning. The mechanics and processes of how we function as a dynamic learning organization can be found on this page. The content links provide an overview of our curriculum for what we learn. The Primary Years Programme (PYP) forms the framework for how we learn. Together, our written curriculum and our framework for learning create a rigorous, standards-based learning environment discovered through an inquiry based process. Our Programme of Inquiry (POI) provides an overview of how learning is integrated throughout the year for each grade level. Rather than learning content in isolation, our students learn to connect and transfer learning between curricular disciplines. Our resources are varied and go well beyond the traditional textbook format. Teachers utilize fiction and nonfiction books, magazines and newspapers, Internet resources and other multimedia resources. We also place a high value on individual expertise and invite guest speakers from the community to share their knowledge with us. Additionally, the greater Cebu landscape offers us an extended learning environment and we experience through field trips and visits related to our units of inquiry. We encourage you to participate as a living resource and sharing field trip experiences with our students.
