Safeguarding and Child Protection
Cebu International School (CIS) makes a commitment to maintaining a culturally safe and inclusive learning environment, where all children and young people from all cultures and backgrounds are welcome and feel safe.
Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is everyone’s responsibility. Everyone who comes into contact with children and their families and carers has a role to play in safeguarding children. School faculty and staff are particularly important as they are in a position to identify concerns early, provide help for children and prevent concerns from escalating. As such, we all are part of a wider safeguarding system for the children in our care.
